HOLLYWOOD  in 1927,  the Golden Age had  begun and the city was the center of U.S. movie production.   Directors, starlets and actors flocked to Southern California to make their name and get their star in front of the newly opened Grauman’s Theatre.    BIG money came to the town as well, along with thieves, murderers and the mob.
